Here's my boy!

OK, so he is a bit out of focus. I had to use Adobe to zoom in on him further b/c I was so far away as it was and I was zoomed out to the max. But who cares? He is all mine, or I am all his which is more accurate- and I can't be more thrilled!

This feeder sits at the back of my yard amoungst the Hostas. He used to go to the saucer one I have in the flower garden- right off the porch, but since I put this one up he likes it better- boo for me b/c it's much farther away.

Thanks everyone. Getting that shot was NOT easy. I waited for what seemed like an eternity for him to come back.

I noticed in my original post that the word "yard" has become a link. I didn't do that. Did ivillage make it a link on its own? Scary thought.

dakster - I know what you mean about being at the right place at the right time to capture a picture. And yeah, iVillage is trying out this context-sensitive ad linking using keywords found in a post. Supposedly you can turn it off but my multiple attempts to do so failed. :-\

Isn't it funny how we take possesion of these guys? They are like one of the family. I never get tired of seeing everyone's pics of their hummer kids. Thanks for sharing him.

I wonder if he likes the feeder type itself better, or the location. Hmm...must experiemnt further.

THat is a good picture. It didn't seem out of focus to me at all. I also have a hard time with anything but close-ups.

Hi Dakster - GUESS WHAT -- I have TWO!! My neighbor told me that one day,,but it was a "yeah right" back to her :o)-- yesterday I had one with BRIGHT colors/ and then later on one with "not so bright" colors..... wonder if I have a momma and a poppa?? I tried moving my feeders around a month ago/ and noticed from the kitchen window that he was "confused" and flew off.. Moved the feeder right back to the window..and he's been busy every night. Can't wait to show my kids from Ariz. -- they have oodles of them out there and always tease me about it.... Stay cool -- it's gotta cool down soon --- I hope!!
