Yep! i've been given the social finger and cussed out by the best of them.
They get bent out of shape if you mess with their feeders.

Dakster - This is my first year using feeders and I had to wait 2 months for the hummingbirds to use the feeders. I kept moving them around until I saw they were being used. Now I won't move them again. P.S. they still use the flowers more anyway. They show me who is boss. Ruth

Yes, hummies don't like when you move "their" feeders.

Oh, they'll find where you moved them soon enough...but you get the brunt of their squeaking and chirping and birdie cussing.

I've been chewed many times when they show up looking for feeders that I took down to clean. I can hear them carrying on in the backyard while I'm in the kitchen washing out feeders :o)

Once the feeders are back up I get the "joy" of hearing them squeaking and chirping again. Not sure if they are excited to get fresh nectar or mad at me for taking so long :o)

Y'all have me feeling bad now cause I've been moving mine around alot lately cause I'm experimenting on whether they seem to like a certain feeder or whether it's the spot. Jury's still out, but I better make a decision soon cause I don't want my lil hummer friends mad at me. :-0

I've only had hummers for about a month now, but my grandmother had them for years (going through 5lbs sugar per week). If her feeders got empty, they'd peck on the windows and stare at her. And they definitely were using birdie cussing to tell her they wanted them refilled.

I'm glad I am not alone.

I've never had a problem with moving feeders, as long as they were the same kind of feeder. The hummers found the new location within minutes. However, this year I have had a problem with changing the kind of feeder. After the squirrel wouldn't stop draining the Perky Pet feeders, I bought a bunch of Humzinger feeders. The few hummingbirds that were in the area of my yard just simply refused to use the Humzingers. I even saw them fly up to the Humzingers, investigate, then fly away. This went on all summer, until just a few days ago. Now, all of a sudden they are using them. It makes me wonder if they are migrators, instead of my "regulars".
