My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.
Received a cutting in the mail. Unfortunately, USPS decided to hold the package until today (it has been sitting in the warehouse since Wed., which is when it was supposed to be delivered), so when it arrived, it had no leaves. The stem looks healthy, so I am attempting to root a leafless cutting. I have it in a 2x2 net pot on my heat mat in the rooting "tank". Hopefully, it works! Wish me luck!
A warming pad to encourage roots faster, 95% humidity to minimize moisture loss, light to help that stem photosynthesize, and air movement to prevent mold and fungi. All in just the right quantities, and consistently. Piece of cake, right? :-)
The stem will either go dry pretty quickly (keep it in as if it's alive for weeks, because it just might be), or it will remain green(ish) for a while, with hopefully some tiny sickly starter leaves eventually (not soon), followed by progressively better leaves.
My success rate with leafless cuttings has been exactly 0%, but I hear it can be done, and I wish you luck.
