Frank our oldest daughter just bought a Canon EOS 20D. It is gorgeous. She still has the equivalent of last year's model and I am going to ask her if I can "borrow" it. I sure don't have $3000+ to put down toward one of these cameras but maybe she would allow me some time with last year's model to capture some pictures of the hummies we have in our garden.

I should add that this daughter moonlights from her regular job to work as a photographer so a couple of jobs will pay for the camera and all of the lenses, lens hoods, flash, flash hoods, etc. that she got with it.

Yes, I too have one on my "wish list" but that's where it would stay - on a wish list. We can dream though. :-)

Hee Haw!!! My DH thought $400.00 was expensive for the camera I bought last year. Phew!

And I thought you only posted gorgeous hummer pictures ;) That sure is a beauty, but $3,000! As much as I want a D-SLR, I think my limit would be around $900, interest free for a year, of course ;)
