Well, the dogs were going nuts this evening so my wife went to check and see what the problem was. What she discovered was a tarantula walking across the road out front towards our property.

Well, I grabbed the camera and got a picture, then asked my wife to pick the tarantula up so I could get a good shot. (Needless to say, that isn't a picture of my wife's arm . . . but she did at least take the picture!!!) Now it should be obvious to EVERYONE why the Tarantula Hawk Wasp's have been hanging around our neighborhood! (And this is in fact the tarantula matting season!)
