Your back grounds are almost as beautiful as seeing all the hummers converging on your feeders. As always I am green with envy.

Oh BTW, Frank the other day I had a hummer hovering behind one of the feeders and it looked like the picture you posted of a hummer inside the feeder. I immediately thought of you and your picture. It was a really cool visual.

Charlotte: The main road into our community is Paradise Drive, and the intersection is known as Paradise Corner. (The name of the restaurant at the intersection is Paradise Corner Cafe and the realty office is Paradise Corner Realty!) We like to think it's just about as close to Heaven as one can get!!!

Actually, the cafe/real estate office is located below the junction where SR-371 dead ends into SR-74. Go right at that junction and you go down to Palm Desert/Palm Springs, go left and you end up in Idyllwild or down in Hemet!

Sara.. LOL my son was stationed in San Diego/ and I fell in love with that area!.... will take me 5 min to pack a bag/ and will take a camel if I have to!! :o)
Frank - it truly amazes me to see those pics/ but if I hadn't seen my little "grandies" feeder in base housing I wouldn't believe it, either!!

Red-eye reducer, tips 'em off every time. ;)

Take some electrical tape and cover the dot. Et VOILA! No more spooked Hummers.

Ya gotta think that if Red-eye reducers can make us blink, Hummingbirds can flit off of the feeders easily.
