I have begun hybridizing daylilies and would like to get their first cold treatment out of the way. They are a month or so old, and are in 4" pots with plenty of root. Are they old enough to put them out in the cold..probably the garage, to let this winter count as the first cold treatment? I am anxious to get bloom!!
