Living in FL I have debated about getting a feeder since it gets so hot here. Anyway yesterday I did get a feeder boiled up some sugar and water. Cleaned the feeder then hung it out for my little hummer that has been visiting. Little hummer came by this morning and was not interested in the feeder at all. Does it take a while for them to go to feeders or will he/she just not go to it at all? I did put it right next to my firespike plants since that is where I have seen the hummer. My plants were really battered around in the storms we had, so they hardly have any blooms. This is why I wanted to try a feeder.
