Hummingbird Garden

Too close

Here's two from early this morning. Excuse the limited light. You know, I shoot with a very big lens and try to shoot from as close to the hummers as I can. Well, the first one is just to show you that some times I get too close and can't get all the action.

The second is more the way I like to shoot; sorta portrait style.

Hi everyone...and Dave, once again, GREAT pictures! I know you wouldn't do this yourself, but I finally found your website where you post a lot of your favorite pictures and I wanted to share it...I really hope you don't mind...This is this website where he posts not only Hummer pictures, but bluebirds and gold finches and there is a Carolina wren picture that made our whole family just laugh out loud! Since breeding season is coming so a close and migration is starting, I thought that browsing his pictures might make you happy...some of his bluebird pictures are just outstanding! Of course, as you guys know, Dave is very humble about his art!
