I have a feeder hanging on my porch and 3 more in the back yard. A male has claimed the one on the porch. He watches from the top of a near-by tomato cage or the hanging basket next to the feeder. Yesterday a female would not be chased away. He chased her around and around the feeder for a good 30 min. Sometimes she was able to steal a quick sip. A 2nd male joined in but she still didn't back off. Other feeders were available but she didn't give up.
