I had a visit today. Its still warm here but I think its over tomorrow. This was my first photo op of the season.

Still had 4-5 here today same as last few days. But the end is most likely near.

Still have at least four in my yard today. We will have great, warm weather for the next week+ so maybe these four will stay a while.

I just saw one at 8am this morning. It was a chilly 48 degrees. First one I've seen in a while.

I thought mine blew away on the second but have three today, must be the late ones. Orioles seem to be gone but the squirrel loves the oranges I put out! I am keeping out one feeder for awhile just to not miss anybody.

Here in SW. Pa., we haven't seen any for about a week...Hubby didn't want to take the feeder down if there is still a chance they'll fly by......

I have at least one female RT this morning. I set out half of a fresh orange for the Orioles (which have moved on I think) and between midnight and dawn somebody? eats ALL of the pulp! Squirrel, raccoon or whatever I sure don't see any birds doing it at night. Don't think I will wait up for the varmint.

Still had at least 1 hummer this morning which ties a record for me.

I had six hummers today. I suspect most will stay a few more days as the wind continues strong from the south, then follow a couple colds fronts southward next week.

My last hummer left on 10/14. It was an very good season. Of course, I'll keep a feeder and an eye out for any very late stragglers.
