Hummingbird Garden

i went to lowe's sat and found these plants. could some one tell me if they are good hummer plants if so then i will get nore thrusday. scutelleria red, drummond's skullcap (scutellarid dummondii) autumn greggii (purple) salvia greggii autumn sage lipstick salvia greggii and last red ruellia. any information will help. thanks franfree

Franfree - I had read that Scutellaria suffructescens is
hum mingbird attractive, but am not growing it because it isn't available locally here. I do grow Salvia Greggii and it is very much used, as are most of the salvias. I am not familiar with Red Ruellia. Hope this helps. Ruth

Ruellia may or may not get much use depending on what other plants you have available. For me the salvias win out anything else is second best.
