Weird Hiummingbird behavior

HI again

I was watching two hummers at the feeder tonight and one was eating, then it flew down and hit the ground and flopped a little. I ran out the door to see what was wrong and it was gone!!

has anyone ever seen this before, I looked everywhere and didnt see it on the ground, I am hoping it flew away.
