How do you do the chalkboard wall?

It is very easy. I used this chalkboard paint http://www.rustoleum.com/CBGProduct.asp?pid=103 and followed the directions on the package. It covered very easily, I applied 2 coats.

@jacksmom12 Those are Ikea LACK shelves. I have the same ones. The picture actually shows two shelves stacked on top of each other and then the legs looks like "BESTA" legs. I think those particular LACK shelves are now discontinued but they now have "EXPEDIT" shelves, which are similar.

any chance you could provide a link to the baskets from home goods? i have a lack boocase that i want to do this with and having a hard time finding the right fitting baskets! thanks!

Sorry Jennifer, they don't list specific products on HomeGoods since their stock changes so quickly :( They did come with fabric flower liners maybe that could help.
