Very Nice, I really love the bright yellow hostas, and your's are exceptional!

Oh the Liberty is just beautiful!! I also think the Brenda's Beauty is very eye catching. Does the center change color as the season progresses? Very nice!

    All very nice!

I'm impressed with Brenda's Beauty. It would make a great birthday present for my sister, Brenda. Is it difficult?
It's so light, does it melt?

Brenda's Beauty is a sport of Gold Standard. It has grown well in my garden. It took me a while to find the right spot for it, it needed a lot of sun to keep the centers white. I literally moved it 7 times before potting it up and putting it in full sun.

Gesila, there you did it to me again!

I saw Brenda's Beauty in the HL but it did not affect me. Now it is on my list for 2013. Full sun for you, means I'll have to move it around a lot as the seasons progress. But it should be worth it.

Also, you keep saying every garden needs a Liberty, now I'm hearing it in my sleep. :)

Lovely, absolutely great pictures. It almost makes me consider moving to a cooler climate.

Gesila, beautiful hostas. Love the Tom Schmid - keep an eye on it, as Lily of the Valley over the years can create a dense mat of roots.

I know what you mean about the LOV Paul, I rolled the 200 pound Mean Green Dream Machine hosta over them. They were flat like pancakes. And, two days later, they were standing up like nothing had disturbed them.

I don't know which is worse in that bed, the Maple tree roots or the LOV.

Tom Schmid is a hosta Chris at Hallsons picked out for me. You can see the pure white margins from quite a distance.

Beautiful,Gesila!! I always thought, from the pictures that Brendas Beauty looked like Gold Standard,so I never considered it,since I have 15 Gold Standards. Phil

I agree with Paul. Lily of the Valley is a monster. I use it under a very old maples and conifers where even grass won't grow because of the trees root competition and shade. It may eventually kill the trees and grow right over them.

That Tom Schmid is awesome. Like a smaller Regal Splendor. And so many colors in your Kiwi Full Monty! I just got mine this year, and even though it only has 4 leaves (my hostas are all still unfurling), I'm already in love with it.

In this one post, Gesila, you've managed to add THREE hosta to my next year list.

Brenda's Beauty, Kiwi Full Monte, and Liberty.

But wait....there's more. I just opened a box of hosta from Minnesota and will soon post a new thread when I get coordinated here. My only disappointment is the hypoleuca could not be sent--it frosted out....bummer.

So, Gesila, maybe it will be payback time!!! Get your pencil sharpened. :)
