My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

I have had several messages recently asking about the best Salvias for hummingbirds. As much as I enjoy the mails, and I do seriously enjoy looking at the beautiful pictures, I have to remind you all that we do not have hummingbirds in Europe. Just wish that we did, as I have seen the beautiful creatures in California, Barbados, and Ecuador. The only thing we have in the UK is the humming-bird hawk-moth, which is stunning, but only occasionally in a hot summer. Had a few this year.

Was thrilled to receive seeds of a very popular humming-bird plant this year, Salvia subrotunda, thanks very much to Nancy, this has been extremely successful here, pity there were no hummers with it!
