Tom, I've never grown this vine, but I found some others who have. I don't know how to enter multiple URLs, so I'll just type them below: (I hope my typing is accurate!) If you can't get these to work, do a gardenweb search, and then do the same on davesgarden. Your plant is coming up under both Clerodendrum, and Clerodendron, so you should probably search under both.

tom, i have 2 of these and have never seen anyone of any species nectar from it. the blooms are small and flat. i cant imagine where a beak would fit into anything.

it's an awesome vine though. it catches my attention every time i pass it.

I have this vine, except the flowers are red & purple.
My hummers do use it, the only thing is that it blooms late fall but a good flower for Fl.
Had a Rufous female hummer banded in my yard 12-23-06 & it's still here.`
