Lakeside Dragonfly

Hello,

Is anyone growing Lakeside Dragonfly? I like the looks of it, but before I buy it, I'd like to know if it's another wimpy hosta. Does it seem to have vigor? Does it need more sun than most? Any info would be appreciated. Pics too if you have them.

I have it. Seems to be a strong grower. Would like others to comment.... Some other Lakeside's seem 'harder' to grow.

Love the look of L. Dragonfly. Nothing matches the color and leaf shape.

Botanybabe, glad you asked because I just got one from Hallson Gardens about two weeks ago. Looking good so far.

Yes it does look good. I think I really need one. In fact, my mental health depends upon it. I'm going to take a look at Hallson's.

This season, I have been thinking the same thing--that Lakeside Dragonfly and Wolverine are very similar. The two hosta's leaves are similar in shape and size. However I see more yellow and a little wider margins with more streaking with LD. Here are two pics from my garden from last year (I have LD in more shade this year and the color of the leaf is more blue like Wolverine):
