I will eventually be able to take and send a picture. No historical value. The house is about 75-85 years old, has a slate roof and a fortified (to withstand explosion of a Model T engine) tandem garage. There's a fairly steep pitch to the roof, providing a fantastic cathedral ceiling in the master bedroom with a non working (but could work) fire place at the end. I"m thinking about the deck being about 7-9 feet deep and about 10 feet wide with an iron railing. The property is sloping and we are in the middle of the slope with the high end about a block away in the back and the low point about a block away in the front. A pearless pear tree just off the patio provides branching overhead that reminds me of the fan vaulting so often present in cathedrals and churches.
