I have a light pink-lavender double impatiens that is about six years old. I bring in multiple plants every winter, and I take cuttings for new plants, so after a while it is hard to remember which is the original. In the case of the pink double, it is rather large and I am almost certain that it is one of the original cuttings that I got from my brother. It is still in the ground and will be dug up, potted and brought inside later this week. We have had an exceptionally late fall this year with only one serious frost. The plants that were covered still look good.

I still have my first plants I started with which is about 10 years ago. Impatiens sodenii, ugenensis, and Giant walleriana. I also have my niamniamensis King and Queen which are few years younger.
