I must echo your sentiments about Iowa. Last weekend we went to Branson then on to Eureka Springs, AR. It was beautiful down there, but nothing to compare with the feelings I got when we saw the "Welcome to Iowa" sign on our way back home. Nothing feels as good as Iowa!

I second the notion of Iowa's beauty...

But, every now and then that famous "Money Smell" kind of interurpts the view...

I'd guess it's safe to say there is a no more beautiful state to live in as long as you keep the car windows rolled up and the AC fan in the off position...or stay upwind of that "money Smell"

Went down I-35 last week. The landscape
sure looked purty in the evening light, but man did it stink.

That reminds me of the "Iowa I-80 Song" I heard on WHO a few days ago.

The lyrics are something like this.

" Oh, Iowa's I-80 ... you cross the Mississippi River, then it's corn,corn corn corn corn...

What's that smell?

More corn, corn, corn, corn, corn, corn, corn, corn...

There's that smell again!
