Hi, In past year's I've caught a dozen of so groundhogs - using a have-a-heart type trap (homemade), Now, however, chipmunks (or squirrels) are going in the trap and taking all the bait (usually cut up apples) WITHOUT setting off the trap. (They go around the vertical stick that, when moved, releases the door, to fall and shut the trap.) Thus, my chance to catch the ground hogs is sabotaged. I don't want to start killing chipmunks. My thought is a trap where the weight of even a chipmunk on a panel on the floor will set off the trap. It must go off with just a light weight on it. Does anyone know where I can get such a trap.
