Gilt Edged Bond

Anyone grow this one, (Gilt Edged Bond, G. Richardson 04)?

This is the second year at my place and I can hardly believe the sparkle of this thing. I also have a close-up of the rim so you can see the sparkle.

Well, I hope you enjoyed the pictures, will try to upload others later.

What a treat for Easter! It looks like the falls have a gilt edge, to. I have seen this in daylilies, but it's pretty unusual in irises, no?
Thanks for posting the photos.

Yes Renee, there is a gilt edge around the falls also, along with diamond dust over the entire flower.

I always say the older I get the more sparkle I like. Hee-hee! Just didn't know it applied to flowers. That's magical! Like it's been dusted with fairy dust. I love it.

How do they do that ? It looks like someone edged it with glue and applied glitter !
