Very nice.

Beautiful pictures. I have always thought this was a very pretty iris. You have quite a nice clump there!

Shadow

Thank you Shadow and gmason. Actually those are pictures of different groupings. I started out with one JS about ten years ago from Cooley's and have over one hundred now. It's a very prolific iris!

All the photos you've posted lately have been beautiful Alicia. I've really been enjoying them.

They don't look like they're from slides anymore, so can I ask what kind of camera you're using? I'm really impressed by the color accuracy. My crummy old camera would turn the plicata band blue if I set the white balance to properly capture the fall spots.

I plan to buy the Canon XTI when I can afford it, but I'm still curious what you're using because it's (and of course you) doing a great job. My favorite from this group is that close-up (third down). Really nice.

Brock

Thank you Brock. I have a Pentax K10 and am using a 18-55mm lens. We got the camera in January and I have really been enjoying it.
