Irisgal I love them both. Although I have to admit, Crimson King has the edge because of the fragrance, and the richness of the color. But the form of I. kochii is really nice.

Terry I have wanted these two for a while and it was really nice to see the two of them blooming together for comparison. Plus, I was able to ID a noid as Crimson King.

i. kochii is superior in form and has no haft markings as far as I could see. There are so many old purples out there that have crossed with each other over the years, it's hard to keep them straight.
