Hi there, I've lurked on this website for a while and I've always found it very useful and I'd like to thank everyone that has helped me without knowing it!

Alas, I need some help identifying something I've found in my flower bed. I wasn't sure what I would find so I was reluctant. This flowerbed was visited by a nice big black snake this week so its had a visitor before. Though I thought I only had 1 of these things, there were 2. This morning while watering my flowerbed I decided to see what I could see.The first one I hit with my water hose unknowingly as it was in another flower bed (I didn't know it was there). The second one I hit it trying to pay attention to it and it seemed like dirt just came out of it however I was a slight distance away from it. When I came home this afternoon there's a new one built. Any ideas on what this is?
