I took a cutting off of a "viola" plant and put it

in a homemade hydro pot.I put a clear plastic bag over the top. Its been over two weeks or so I wanted to take the bag off

The problem is both times I tried the plant wilted

after only an hour.I assume that I have to harden off the plant but how when the plant is affected so fast?

Should the bag be left on longer?Doesent it need fresh air?

It seems to be doing fine under the bag (even putting out new flowers but the bag is a bit of an eye sore).Can I

start the next ones w/no bag? thanks
