Seattle Japanese Garden has an 11 story stone pagoda garden ornament (about 2.5 meters tall). Is eleven common? or are we missing a couple layers?? It has symbols carved on all four sides of its base. Any idea what they are? Origin? Significance? etc?? Thanks for the help.
