Hi, I don't know a lot about japanese maples, and would like to purchase one. I am writing to ask for suggestions. I am interested in lacy leafed, weeping/pendulous, nice color in shade, and does not grow too tall -- maybe 3 or 4 feet. I am in zone 5. Any suggestions would be great! Thanks, Debbie

I have a 'Lemon Lime Lace' I like. About 4 x 4 in 10 years (bigger in time) and a 'Bronzewing' which may eventually get to 8' but it would be a while. I see you tried on the Maple Forum with no luck.
