Hi,

Mine aren't and they are doing fine.

Suz

Hi Suz,
Did you order your Irises by catalog or find them in a store? I don't know anything about the Louisiana Irises yet. Do you have any specific ones that seem to work well for you? Do they need full sun or is half and half ok for them?
Thanks, Susie

I bought two each of nine varieties of Louisiana irises last fall from the link listed below. Planted and mulched them to stay moist. They're growing good -only lost one which is okay as they also sent four extras.

So far they're growing good. They get mostly sun but some shade sporadically during the day. Right now, the foliage is about two feet tall. Some have sported more foliage so I'm guessing they're clumping.

Can't wait to see what happens this year, if they flower like they say. I ordered the biggest, wavey edged ones in a variety of colors and planted them across a twenty-five by six foot area in hopes that they'll all multiply and then I'll have a huge bed of irises eventually.

They're worth a try. Good luck ... please let me know how you do with them if you decide on growing them.
