Junipers can be hosts to many plant disease. Your extension agent can answer that question.

No, it is just the nursery only delivered inside the state they were in. I have found a nursery in my state that does have them, but they have a minimum order of plants. They do have some other plants I like or find interesting, not sure I have the room, like red buddleia.

Repanda is a really good choice. It has pleasing foliage that isn't too spikey. It's a reliable horizontal grower and it's tough - tolerates drought and damp equally well. Here in the UK it has an RHS AGM, that's Royal Horticultural Society Award of Garden Merit!

We have a new Japanese garden now at our new home. We bought one extra repanda and will put it near the pond/waterfall. I am really excited to have one extra.
