Oh, my gosh, Kay. You grow so many beautiful new irises. Decadence is gorgeous, but Montmartre is my favorite of all of these beauties. I'm sad too- we're two weeks ahead of schedule and the garden tour was scheduled a week late- everything will be bloomed out.

Usually, they bloom sort of en masse. this year, it has been here and there...and the silly daylilies are at least three weeks ahead of schedule. Only the roses are behaving, and that because they have enjoyed the no winter.

I hate that things won''t be at peak for your garden tour. that is the pits!

Very pretty Kay! Batik has never been a good bloomer here, if I move it, it refuses to bloom for at least a couple of years, & I moved it 2 years ago. Didn't bloom this year, unless it decides to bloom late. I just can't seem to get this one to a place I really like, either. A bush grew over it once, then I decided maybe because it didn't bloom, it didn't like the site. I know where I have it now I'm not going to be happy, behind taller iris. What was I thinking? But I'm NOT moving it til I see it bloom again! Or maybe I'll just move all my plants from in front of it.
Montmantre is so pretty, & I love the color of City Lights, but you know that :)

For some reason, Batik is a very good bloomer here. I moved it last fall, and it didn't slow down a bit. But some iris that do beautifully elsewhere sit and sulk here. Others that I moved (Brat for example) are sulking this year.

Kay, I guess that not all blooming at once might be good because your bloom season should last much longer that way. I love City Lights, such a lovely color.
