I planted Conjuration a couple of years ago. This year they have gotten so tall, and after the blooms open, they fall over. I think the blooms are just too heavy. Is this unusual? I've never staked an Iris, but is that what I should do to keep them upright? The blooms are beautiful, but not when they are laying on the ground. If I stake, do I have to worry about putting the stake through the rhizomes? Thanks for any suggestions that you have.
