crowded seedlings

last year I had a few(4) tiny seedlings from a Silverado X Kevin's Theme pod. I dumped the whole small pot they were in in a spot in my garden to allow them more growing room. Well, this Spring about 15 more of the seeds are shooting up around them,to my surprise. It is a crowded sight for sure and I need to know what to do to maximize on getting these to maturity. My plan was for transplanting the four in the Fall if they survived our Spring and Summer. Now they are all competing for gowing room, water and nutrition in 10 square inches of space!! What is my best course of action or no action at all? Experienced advice would be so welcome. I can't look at them without feeling they are going to be the cause of each other's demise.
