Would it be ok to over-winter a 4' potted tropical hydrangea in 55 (give or take a couple degrees) temperatures for the winter months?

It would be placed in an attached empty garage in front of a north window with a couple of other (hate the cold, hate the indoor heat plants.)

Is 55 temps too cold for it to survive until spring?

Thanks,

Billy
