A thought hit me today when I was planning a "stream/bog area" to feed into my Koi pond,that I am going to be using to filter out the nitrates from the water as well as cleaning up what small bit if fine sediments that could have made it thru my filter system. Had been planning on using some native/local bog plants. Thats when it hit me,How I always thought hydroponic gardening was cool ,But never had the money for the pumps and tanks. But wait, I have pumps pumping about a 1000 gallons of water with nitrates and traces of alot of good stuff.>>duh Ok, now to the point of this post. I am wanting opinions,looking for suggestions for veggies/aromatic herbs that are big eaters of Nitrogen, but can do with medium N in their diet, and like strong partial sun. Not planning on changing the pond for the plants,but more helping pond with plants.
