They look a lot alike, but I have 3 orange iris that I can't really tell apart but for the bloom time & the tag.

Hmmm, I don't think they look the same. What makes you think it is Good Show? Was it sold to you by that name? Have you looked at the BlueJ iris website and sorted by color and looked there? They have a lot of orange irises for you to compare to.

I was looking at the orange irises on the Schreiners website and thought they looked the same. I have no tags because this iris was planted many years ago from a collection I got from Brecks and back then I didn't tag my plants. I haven't bought new irises for years since I lost my job. I now have a renewed interest in them and will be sure to tag any I plant.

That's a good clue- do you remember what year you got the irises from Breck's? Or decade? :) It looks like an older iris to me- maybe from the 1980s or before. It has that orange beard, that will help.

LOL-yes I got these a good 10-15 years ago. it does have an orange beard the falls and standards are plain orange. To top it off I don't recall seeing this bloom last year. Needless to say-when I purchase new ones, they will be from a more reputable iris website and I will tag them. I believe the collection was called Batik and got a free Batik Iris rhizome which did bloom-purple with purple/white tie dyed looking falls.

oh and it has about 4-5 buds on the one stem if that helps.

I think I know which Iris it is-because years ago I also placed an order with, of all places, Spring Hill and it was a collection that included an orange iris called Disco Music. Which does look like mine. How embarrassing, bad enough Brecks but now Springhill, oy.
