Latest Iris to Bloom Photos

Here are a few more flowers I've not posted:

Belgian Princess--I've always thought this one is really pretty, but just one stalk this year, with only three flowers:

Genealogy, first year, one of the many whose good looks are not really translated effectively in pics:

Changing Seasons--I wonder if any of you grow this one? It was the Schreiner 2004 cover iris, but almost immediately seemed forgotten. This is its first years here, and all flowers have been splotchy--as you can see here. They've all been like this. I wonder if this might be why the cultivar never gained popularity [?]:

Paris Fashion--I will try to get a photo of this in the sun. I know some don't care for ruffled form, but if you do, this may be the most ruffled around. It didn't bloom for four years, but now that it has, I can say it is stunning:

Inside White Hot--this looked like an albino lady bug, which I'm sure it's probably not!:

Belgian Princess is so pretty. I LOVE ruffles, so Paris Fashion is just what I like!

Don't like ruffles? Bite your tong! I just love, love, love ruffles and big flowers. Paris Fashion is a STUNNER!

I'm the one who doesn't care for the extravagant ruffles. But more bothersome is waiting four years for an iris to bloom. Thanks for the background info. Genealogy looks great.

I can't see two of the photos. I do love Belgian Princess, but I am sorry to hear it is not blooming well for you this year. I would like to see Changing Seasons- I almost bought it yesterday.

The iris are lovely, esp Paris Fashion. Looks like a cucumber beetle/corn rootworm beetle to me. Ugh!

I love the delicate coloring of Belgian Princess. Genealogy and changing seasons are rather similar - which do you prefer?

Hey,
CS and Genealogy are both first year for me, but in terms of their color Genealogy is much prettier to me: it's more orangey--one of the many that aren't perfectly captured in pics...

I can see the photos now, for some reason. Must have been my browser. Thanks for the lovely shots. That yellow flush up the falls on Genealogy is pretty. Thanks too for the report on Belgian Princess- it always attracts my eye, and I was thinking of trying it. I'll hold off for now.
