Lights For Indoor plants?

I have a bunch of plants on my porch. this is the first year I have tried to grow anything. so I don't know which kind of light to use when I take them inside. I have an hanging ceiling lights and I think it helps a little. I don't have much natural light coming through my windows. I also love to know what the good brand is.

It's gonna depend on the plants :O

For "full sun" plants, don't even bother taking them inside. The photonic levels will be simply too low.

My local "super" Walmart, however, as somewhat generic 24" fluor. grow lights that seems sufficient for the following (smallish) plants:

- Peperomia
- Dwarf banana (don't know why, but it doesn't seem mind lol)
- China Doll
- Ivy
- Aloe
- Phalaenopsis orchid
- Coffee plant
- Gynura (thick purple hair!)
- Croton-like-thing (no ID)
- A fittonia and a relative
- A plant too generic to ID.

All under two 24 inch grow lights.

My coffee and banana could grow faster, but I am currently satisfied with their mere survival.

Hope depot sells fluorescent grow tubes, and mounts. But I don't think I'll figure out how to plug them <:o>
