Did I promise 'Orris Root' to someone?

I thought I promised some rhizomes of "Orris Root" to someone last year and because my DH cut the dead stalks off where I had marked I couldn't because it was too close another iris and didn't want to send wrong one. Will watch him closely this year !!!
