You could tie her up until she re-invigorates. Or, use a half-circle hoop.

find her the link for moving fully leafed out hosta..

get some rope.. and tie it up for a week or two ...

then later.. release it.. and cut off any droopers...

I know how to move a large hosta, I moved about 10 of them last fall.
This one is not that big,only had about 10-12, leaves.
I did tie her up thoguh, it is so hard to see her lift up her head, only to drop it down again, I'm crazy,i know,:0)
she just seems like she is struggling to stay up.
I guess this is one that is very touchy to move.

When I moved mine last year, she was NOT happy all year.
This year, I bought her sister, Ebb Tide. She's still in a pot, but I strapped her up when I brought her home and will not take the straps off until she's been in the ground for 2 weeks and even then, I plan on putting a hoop on her.

I love the way we assign a feminine identity to our hostas! Occasionally, I've seen one described as masculine (i.e., Spartacus or Captain Kirk, etc.), but unless the hosta's name is distinctively male, it seems most of us think of our hostas as "girls!"

I always think of my Tokudamas as males.
Sum & Substance, as a Big Girl,Spring Fling as a girl also.
