Its a bearded iris for sure. You can see the beard. Looking at this iris, I would say round up has been sprayed around or near it.
A whole row of mine look like this and come to find out Hubby used round up on the fence row..and didnt think he got it on the iris.
It should bloom normal next year, the next bloom may even look better.

Yes, I think the same thing happened here. He was after the henbit nearby. Rats, will have to watch him more closely! I think it might be Iris Sindjkha from pictures I've found.

There is no way I would try to id it...you would be amazed at how different it will look once the Round up gets out of its system, The next bloom to open might be closer to normal, but even then there will still be differences..
