Oregon wild iris

OK, all you iris people from the Great Pacific Northwest or anyone else, I need an id please.

My Mother just came home from Eugene, Oregon and brought this iris that grows wild everywhere.

I've got a photo of 1 wilted flower and the foliage below.

Thanks everybody....Randy in California

Denise,
Thank you.
The foliage is 8" tall and it feels like there are small rhizomes with lots of roots.

Hi Randy- Looks just like tenax to me too. Here's some pics I took of it. This first one was taken along the Clackamas River near Mt. Hood National forest. It was more lavender and less orchid than my camera shows.

This pinker toned tenax grows here in Thurston County, WA... or used to. Development may have wiped it out, as I've not heard mention of it for years.

From what I've read they vary in color from lavender, to purple, to orchid, to white.
