Marg, your iris photos are never boring. I check in here daily to see what everyone has blooming. Nice to see someone else with iris blooming this late.

Since my iris just started blooming here in zone 2...I just have MDB's and SDB's blooming so far. TB's still have a ways to go before blooming.

Thanks Sierra. Most of mine are tall bearded but last time I ordered I was sent some miniatures and an intermediate. I think I still have 2 more to bloom. I tried the Siberian one called Dance Ballerina Dance but it struggles to come back every spring so think I will get rid of it and maybe get more miniatures. I saw yours and I like Proud Tradition and Live Music. Marg

Boring, never! I love to check out everyone's blooms, and mine are over for the year. Unless I get some fall bloom. I like the color on Fashion Queen, but I think my favorite is Breakers.

Hi Marg, I think you are thinking of another Sierra. I haven't posted my iris anywhere.

I tried Dance Ballerina Dance a couple of times. It seems to strugle here too.

For me the MDB's and the SDB's multiply and flower much more than the TB's. I find the BB's hardier than the IB's as well.

You can't mistake Jurassic Park --- its falls are dark and the standards are an ochre-greenish yellow. Difficult to capture the true colors. Your 2nd picture is too pretty to be Jurassic.

Garden Bride looks wonderful. Breakers is still one of my favorite 'oldies but goodies'.
