The Iris looks like Conjuration! somewhat. Looks more like Clam Stream.

Neither peony is pure white, they both have one or two red streaks in the center of each bud. I would love to trade with you but I'm in Canada. BTW, your flowers are gorgeous! Marg

Marg, your fence is straight out of a magazine. What a beautiful garden you have- and you can grow all of the lovely things I lust after! Peonies, lupines- so gorgeous.

The blue iris is probably not a registered iris. There is no iris called 'Configuration' on the American Iris Society Encyclopedia, and the name is so close to 'Conjuration' that I imagine someone just put a name to an unregistered seedling.

I bought an iris from Home Depot labeled 'Clarence' that looks very much like your seedling there. I imagine the people who wholesale to the big box stores just put random names on the iris rhizomes they buy in bulk from the big growers. That's one of the problems with identifying irises- sometimes there's just no way to be sure!

It's fun to try, though. I contact the seller in cases where I am unsure of the name, and they can usually give me information.

Gypsy Romance is such an amazing colour! The Peony is my favourite flower. I've only had one of mine bloom this year so far. All my others are still all buds. Your Jacob's Ladder also looks really good.

Lovely colors on the iris, I love that Jacob's ladder! I've tried to grow it, but it always disappears after a year or so. Maybe too much humidity here. I grow nigella too, if you have a white one this year, you may get some pink next year. That is what happened here.
