Typical Iris Bloom Size

Hi, everyone. I have this lovely iris blooming in my garden, but I don't know what variety it is. Does anybody recognize it? The flowers on it are massive, almost 8" across, much bigger than the blooms on any of my other irises, which makes me wonder: what is the typical bloom size for tall bearded iris? Thanks!

I think there is no real "typical" size for blooms on tall bearded iris. Some are known for having large blooms, and some have smaller ones. I would think that the large bloom size, along with other characteristics, might help you discover which iris you have.

Reminded me of one of my iris, Thinking out Loud. It isn't quite the same, but I wonder if they are kin. Thinking out Loud is a very large flower too.
