It's an inspirational space. Lots going on there which can be adapted to other gardens. Hey, some of the metal tractor parts dug up by DH in the latest flower bed might make good art work, and part of the history of this little city lot. At one time, someone gardened here.

Very pretty place. I kept cringing inwardly at the beautiful statuary, thinking, "OMG, that's gonna get stolen." I kept thinking of airplane cable and locks the whole time I scrolled through the pictures.

Even the MANAGEMENT of the co-op is a nuisance to the gardens here. One of my neighbors told me today that if you hassle the management here too much, they will shut off the water to your outside hose connection. Imagine gardening without an outdoor spigot.

Really??!! Thats sounds a lot like bullying to me.

Paula, that is a way of keeping CONTROL. The way to deal with that, sometimes you must step back and think.
If you cannot change anything yourself, you can change your attitude and find peace and calm. Then you find a way to deal with it, but hold on until you find the right path.

Thanks for sharing the pictures. I've always wanted to wander up to see them. Now, I'll make a point of it!

I heard they had over 1,000 varieties of hostas for sale. Did you buy any?

I stopped there last year. Controlled myself and only brought home 'Gold Regal' and 'Rhino Hide'. I have some pics on Photobucket, but the slideshow that I made stopped working =(

No, I didn't, Gesila -- I don't have a yard (I'm an apt dweller). But my folks (who I dragged along) bought 5.

And Ester, I don't think any of the statuary was nailed down -- neither were the potted plants.. heh
