If you keep them picked and watered they will produce for 6 weeks or so, unless the heat or something gets them. I usually pick every-other-day.

rockguy~ Thanks for the information. It helps me in determining where to plant them knowing they can produce for up to 6 weeks.
I didn't know they were that productive and now I'm not sure I'll need to do successive sowings since they don't survive the heat of summer well. Sounds like by mid July the heat can get the best of them!
