I just found out that the flower in the last picture is called Feverfew.

Jason, you have so many pretty flowers blooming. I like the feverfew, but I really love the Maiden pink "flashing lights".
I don't think I've ever seen it before. Your peonies are beautiful. I have serious lupine envy already, and you post a gorgeous pink one.

Oh, by the way, Night Owl is a lovely iris.

aquawise - You're right! Our Night Owl irises look nothing alike. Maybe it was just the lighting when the pictures were taken that's making them look different. Or maybe the climate. Who knows?

Kay - I love that plant (flashing lights). It's a ground cover type plant and when it flowers the stems pop right up. The bright colour of the blooms really makes it stand out. It spreads quickly too but isn't invasive. It's easy to dig up and separate and move to different spots as the roots are quite shallow. It will also grow in shade and sun but likes full sun the best. In shade it doesn't do as well. My in-laws have it in their garden and so does my aunt. We all love it.

Could be the soil! I bought it from schreiner's last fall.
Makes one wonder.

Marg - I bought my Primevere peony at that garden centre in Collingwood (can't remember the name of the place). It's the one on Hwy. 26 when you are just leaving Collingwood heading towards Craigleith. (Not too far from Cranberry Village).

That's a nice Feverfew- double blossoms. I have a new one that is chartreuse and I really like it. Thanks for sharing your photos.
