Need Help with these Two they are both e-m bloomers Small Flower

Can you tell us how large the first iris is? There are a number of very old cultivars that look just like this but are distinguished by their size.

The First One is 3' Tall and has 2 1/2" Flower Shaped with a Closed Head. The Other 2' Tall and 3" Flower.
Second one looks like Joseph's Coat Katkamier but is Purple Molted on top not Yellow.

#1 - 'Madame Chereau' or 'Pocahontas' - 1915

#2 - 'Rhein Nixe' usually has less of a veined area on the falls.
Maybe 'Edina' (Lemon1840

Thanks! Pocahontas is more up-right Uppers and mine form a Head. And I think Edina fits better for this Iris in Size and Bloom time also.

#1 might be Swertii-a *real* oldie!

Yes # 1 is Swertii. Pocahontas and Chereau do not have that distinctive 'fold' on the falls.
#2 does not have a name as far as I know. It is very old, has most likely lost its name. It is neither Rhein Nixe or Edina.
